Review: Conviction by Corinne Michaels
Series: The Consolation Duet (Part 2)
Publication Date: 27th May 2015
I fell in love with Liam only to be left shattered into a million pieces. Again. The idea of being without him cripples me but the reality is, he’s gone.
He doesn’t understand and I can’t make him.
If only he’d see the conviction behind my words—then Liam would still be here.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars
Well, the first book in this duet generated a turbulent lix of feeling in me, and considering how the book ended I was extremely eager and incredibly nervous to get stuck into this one.
I'm incredibly pleased to say that I was so happy with how this book played out!
I don't want to spoil it but yeay Natalie! She got her shit together and went after what she wanted even when he was being a bit of an eejit! She stuck by her guns, which I didn't think she had enough of a spine to do, and she made me proud.
A 'roller-coaster of emotion' is used a lot to describe romance novels but it really does fit this book perfectly. It's loaded with the feels and I was left happy and satisfied when I was done.
If you were left demoralised, anxious or heart-sick at the end of Consolation, keep the faith!! Read this and enjoy the happy ever after!
